I've been a Bastardi defender here for years (because I found value in his enthusiasm) but it's time now for me to surrender to Jim Williams and others.....who saw before me that Bastardi is the Glen Beck of weather forecasting.
As P. T. Barnum said: "there's a sucker born every minute"; and I was one of 'em.
Weather is weather...and any mere mortal who tries to defy the weather gods is doomed to fail.
Ironically, I like it that way.
