| The whole thing sickens me and should have never happened in the first place. The problem is that unless we saw large amounts of wildlife washing up on beaches same as exxon valdez people wont fight to keep the gulf clean. Politicians will dig in to promote more drilling and claim the end result was not that bad so basically any size spill is OK. The northern gulf waters are pig pennery and the gullable people allowed it. The sad thing is that nowadays if you are a conservationist of any kind you are labeled as a "environmentalist wacko" and sadly examples like the gulf spill dont help the cause because after all everything is fine in the gulf right?. Man is hell bent on killing this planet no matter what the cost and they will get thier way because too may people simply dont care. |
