Deep South snow event ...

southern parts of Alabama will see a snow event for the 6th time this winter.  There has NEVER on record been six recorded snow events in southern Alabama in one winter.

Parts of northern Alabama and Mississippi already have accumulated over 1 foot of snow and some places are approaching two feet.

Forecasters indicate that at least one more major winter storm may be possible before the winter ends officially next month.
