Euro and GFS are both showing a surface low spinning up around the Panhadle of Texas on the 21st around 999mb.
This is commonly known as a Texas Hooker and can get quite nasty.
Some of the great tornado outbreaks were Texas Hookers.
I am especially worried about the heavy snow pack and a warm, moist air - they usually end up making a deadly combo.
About Wednesday, should have a better idea on timing and intensity.
500mb forecast will say a lot.
