Some common factors with all the quakes.

Occurs during daylight - large TEC overhead.

The larger the D-region absorption frequency, the stronger the quake.

Occurs in conjunction with a negative interplanetary magnetic field.

Quakes are relatively shallow.

Plates all over the world are on edge - seeing a lot of foreshocks.

IMHO we will be seeing alot more and they will be in populated locations.
