Should we convert to Natural Gas

There is the big question. Will the US stop nuclear power plants in the near future, or will it take a disaster here to end them.

Will Japan convert nuclear power plants to fossil fuels such as natural gas. This process is less expensive than building new power plants and, with political and other hurdles overcome, natural gas from the huge Siberian reserves could be piped in at relatively low cost.

We have a huge investment here in the US from big oil from natural gas. There are other options such as coal, wind and solar. What do you think will be pushed the most. I'm sure that clean burning natural gas will be the top choice.

There a a lot of other countries that have so called endless supplies of natural gas that would be sold at a cheap price to begin. The term Clean Burning Natural Gas has been sold to us for many years. The natural gas industry is as dirty as coal. So will we jump from the oven to the frying pan and convert to natural gas, only time will tell.
