I use a British Big Berkey  water filter system. They are used in emergency disaster area's worldwide as they need no power.. The black filters will purify pond water, and can be cleaned. It's the best tasting water I ever had. The problem with a distiller is it needs a power source and the minerals are taken out of the water.
