This is epic right now and I'm beyond busy because of school to track the weather. Isn't that some real bull? I MEAN TRULY. And of course my internship is over so it's not like I can go look at this stuff on AWIPS although, I'm sure I could visit. But who has time when graduating.
I really dont even have time to be typing this message but I wanted to just say that I wish i could participate in all this with you all today: I will say this, for our severe weather exercise today we extended our portion of moderate change further north than SPC did based upon observations and local trends.
What is very interesting about this set up is the number of shortwave impulses propogating along the larger scale negatively titlting trough. this is what's creating crazy weather left right and sideways.
EPIC NINA. I really wanna know in 20 years if AGW is gonna make NINA phases just crazy as hell. What a pattern and transitioning season. |
