We have a friend whose relative was hurt in one of the recent tornadoes. He had brain surgery this past week; they removed a piece of roofing and gravel from inside his brain. He also has a terrible infection, needless to say - the young man (20 something?) is doing poorly. There were over 900 hurt...that is also mind boggling. Those poor, poor people.

I hope the media doesn't forget that Joplin is not the only place that will need help a long, long time.
