Earthquake summary :
Early USGS reports did indicate a very strong earthquake with very high MMI values close to Lebu on June 1 2011.
After comparing the different datasets from other parts of the world and from Chile, we found out that the epicenter was not close to Lebu but far out in the Pacific Ocean.
Instead of a severe IX MMI, the max. value was acceptable IV MMI.
Lebu has escaped the inferno !
