Emergency responders and the public can now get a bird's-eye view of the damage caused by Hurricane Irene over North Carolina's Outer Banks. NOAA's National Geodetic Survey is posting high resolution photos taken by a team of aviators and remote sensing experts flying at 5,000 feet on board a specially outfitted King Air turboprop aircraft.
