Some models showing a Texas storm near the end of the period

Looking at the models, some of them are pointing to the western gulf for a new cyclone to develop around the weekend. I'm not sure if any of them develop it into a hurricane (still no expert on the strength) but it looks like it could sit and spin some rain back into east Texas. The local mets just hinted that this is a possibility. In any case they say it will bring us substantial much needed rain.
The GFS seems to develop this fairly aggressively Sunday. |
