A TORNADO WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 430 PM CDT FOR EXTREME SOUTHEASTERN JEFFERSON AND SOUTHEASTERN LAFOURCHE PARISHES...
AT 405 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE METEOROLOGISTS CONTINUED TO DETECT A TORNADO. THIS TORNADO WAS LOCATED 8 MILES SOUTH OF GRAND ISLE...OR 28 MILES SOUTHWEST OF PORT SULPHUR...MOVING NORTHWEST AT 45 MPH.
