It's unfortunate the Draconid meteor shower today will peak during daylight. I might still go out and tonight and try to see if there are any that can be seen. Of course if I did go out I could probably spend hours and not see a one. Might be raining anyway.

It's probably a coincidence because nothing I see mentions it, but the meteor I saw was to the NW, exiting toward the W and the Draconids are to the NW. I guess it was probably too early for it to be that shower. The peak for that shower is this afternoon and not too many hours later when it gets dark here the chances of seeing the shower diminish a lot.
