| Definitely looks like we're in for a genuinely rainy/stormy week here in TX, thankfully. I am up in Dallas and we still need rain up here, and I KNOW you need it down in your area. This time last summer we already had an abnormally strong and firmly entrenched ridge over Texas; the set-up thus far this May/June has for the most part been precisely the opposite. Hopefully we continue to see more troughiness over TX so that a tropical depression/storm makes its way over the state this month. That's the kind of rain we really need, flooding be damned. |
