Hail Storm

:) very cool, cold cold cold hail, falling from the sky for the longest time.... been a long time since I can remember such a long hail storm.
larger than qt size hail, mostly qt...some big round golf balls (yes I know the size of golf balls and even by the time i got out there and they were melting in my hand in the 100 degree temps)... I went outside basically because I heard rumbling like tornado off in the distance ... more than rain, not straight line wind... swirly wind with rumbling noises..and suddenly everything went whoosh and big rain drops turned into large chunks of hail coming in at different angles.... bouncing off the ground a foot or more in all directions and then..............
rounded size hail, coming straight down... for a long time
wild
really wild
love it
something about such cold, freezing cold hail on such a hot day, triple digit heat and icy cold hail covering the ground... melting fast |
