I've been scanning the HI islands for daily updates and far they keep saying showers no mention of rain in any of the islands seven day forecast.

This is for the farthest tip of the big island.

Daniel Central Pacific Hurricane Center Honolulu  has issued a final advisory

For the central north Pacific, between 140°W and 180.

1. The final advisory for tropical cyclone Daniel was issued by the Central Pacific Hurricane Center at 500 pm HST Wed Jul 11 2012. The remnant low of Daniel is located 700 miles east southeast of Hilo. Environmental conditions are not conducive for development. There is a low chance, near 0 percent, of this system becoming a tropical cyclone during the next 48 hours.

Elsewhere, no tropical cyclones are expected through late Friday night.

Emilia so far seems to be of little concern to the islands at this point in time.
