our home is ok, we are between Cypress Creek & Little Cypress, but high ebough to not flood - it's occurring in many areas all aound Houston though, as I'm sure you know from the local news

how about you, Will ? - hope all is well with you & yours, I heard Copperfield was dumped on over the last 3 days - check out 72-hr QPE http://nmq.ou.edu/  - adding counties & roads makes it easier to find your area

SciGuy's latest post on FB about the low meanering back over TX this weekend has me keeping my fingers crossed - that has an "Allison" kind of feel to it...

The National Weather Service plans to let the flash flood watch expire at 9 p.m. for the Houston area but ... the upper-level low pressure system is now forecast to move back over the area this weekend. That means there's still the potential for very significant rainfall on Saturday and Sunday, and if it actually comes it will mean serious flooding issues given the state of our soils and bayous.
