GOM TCHP

Isn't this late August? Where did that massive, cold anomaly off of the Yucatan come from?! This could be a bit of a positive for the northern gulf coast. He's moving too fast, which negates the TCHP issue but will not allow as much intensification; however, if he slows, he won't be able to really bottom out because the TCHP is not high enough to support a slow-moving Cat 4+ in the NE or N GOM. Thoughts? |
