Smaller eyewall formation?

I'm seeing a lot of inner eyewall echoes similar to a quick pinhole eye formation.  Typically these end up as short-lived vortices but this seems rather long-lived over the past few hours.  It's got TWC a bit worried as well.

Whatever happens it definitely won't last for long.  The overnight heat dump will be Isaac's last shot at something Cat.2 tight around the eye.

Meteorologically it'd be a helluva science opportunity to catch a pinhole this close to the coast (I dont believe we've ever gotten one on radar).  But real real bad for the gulf coast folk near that thing though.  Might as well be in a long-lived tornado 20 milles across.
