Willaimsburg VA Weax Update

Live from Colonial Williamsburg Virginia......
Busch Gardens closed today and business / government / entertainment closures continue to pile up ahead of Sandy. I am posting from the Hampton Inn on SR 60.
Current weather is not bad..yet.
Winds NNE @ 13 Gusting to 25. Winds expected to increase to a steady 20-30 throughout the afternoon.
The shortwave cold front moving in from the west has been clashing with Sandy for the past 5 hours in a line from the Outer Banks north to DC.
Probably heading to Norfolk later today or 1st thing Monday Morning.
Us weather junkies are certainly being entertained.
The NHC will turn over ownership of Sandy to the NWS sometime today. |
