| I'm surprised there not atleast issuing Watches - this is what is done in Canada since we started issuing TS and Hurricane watches/warnings a few years ago. Issue a TS or Hurricane watch - along with the storm surge, wind and rain warnings.. and then if it does appear to stay tropical during landfall upgrade the watches to warnings and run them concurrently with surge, rain and wind warnings. |
