The birds are talking/warning you and other birds/animals of things to come. They don't speak the same language but the speak.
The animals fled the coast before the 2004 Tsunami but many people did not listen or see. As we have changed become more civilized and reliant on man made warning systems we have forgotten there are natural early warning systems. Yes I fall into this category.
