"LATEST UPDATE 10/29/12..... Hurricane Sandy is now beginning to make the forecast turn to the N.W. The official forecast now calls for potential restrengthening to around 90mph while extratropical somewhere before landfall in New Jersey tonight. Sandy is expanding in size so a large area could feel tropical storm force wind gusts up to 300 miles from the center. Regardless of the type of system Sandy is at landfall you can expect beach erosion and storm surge especially north of where the center comes ashore and alot of power outages. The current feature remains Atlantic City,New Jersey with the official forecast pointing near here and the countdown clock has been activated. The worst wind and surge conditions should be felt north of where the center makes landfall so Long Island to NYC should be impacted nearly the same. The mission of hurricanecity is to feature the city most likely to be hit directly but with extratropical systems an area hundreds of miles can be evenly impacted, so everyone well away from Atlantic city should be equally prepared. Watch continuing coverage of Hurricane Sandy on hurricane TV and tonight I will be live with the hurricane warning show.....jw"

the "current feature" of Atlantic City, NJ has tons of links, love the  Sat / Radar / Advisories, West ATl ships/buoys and all the rest...
