| Power is still on here I live at 31st and Lex. The wind gusts are incredible. Ive never heard howling outside my window like I am right now, was here for Irene and lived through many noreasters (from north central jersey originally. These winds are incredible. Looks like power will be lost soon, on the news you can see transformers exploding everywhere. Ill update if my modem stays on. I pray for people in zone A who were given 5 hours to evacuate before they shut down the subway systems. The situation must be unprecendented and very dire in those locations. |
