meteor impact

I am sure most of you heard about the meteor that impacted russia this morning the same day as 2012 DA14 passed by earth,up to 1,000 injured
Russia impacted. I dont know how you all feel but I am a little uncomfortable with NASA's dont worry about anything approach. Could you imagine if this meteor hit a major city in the U.S with results 10 times as bad the day NASA says nothing to be concerned about? I know they are in the business of calming fears just like they did with Dec 21st only stating scientific facts but not dealing with the unknown science of smaller particles. I know this meteor came in at a different direction than 2012 DA14 but just a little to coinkidink to me. Slight different timing & NASA has A lot of explaining to do, opinions? |
