I can answer C) for you Jim,

Lima, OH is where the Tank plant is at.  It is the only plant that is keeping the city of Lima afloat.  should the plant close it would serious hurt the economy for that side of Ohio.  How do I know this, My husband was born and lived in Lima for 13 yrs before moving to San Diego.  He was the one that told me about it.  So of course Ohio senators are going to fight to keep the plant open.

It's like where I live, Should Shaw AFB ever close, the city of Sumter would hurt economically because it is the only thing keep the city afloat right now since after the NAFTA act was passed and  all the factories that were here packed up and left which hurt the city badly job wise.

Sorry, I just had to comment as these furloughs are getting out of control....government workers are also being cut into 4 day work weeks...luckily I work for the VHA which has job security right now.
