I think the NHC really liked those wind reports that gave them an out to say that there was either no LLC or it was not very well defined. (If they didn't have those, they might have had to say it crossed over, only to then dissipate soon after.) Meanwhile, the area that in some way used to be Barbara is still kicking down there in the Bay. Not quite at the surface yet as of a little earlier this morning:

But the convection is starting to fire up again. At the very least, a lot of rain.
