Recon tomorrow, if needed.

I.  ATLANTIC REQUIREMENTS
   1. SUSPECT AREA---GULF OF MEXICO
      FLIGHT ONE -- TEAL 70
      A. 04/1900Z
      B. AFXXX 01XXA INVEST
      C. 04/1730Z
      D. 24.0N 88.5W
      E. 04/1845Z TO 04/2300Z
      F. SFC TO 10,000 FT.

   2. SUCCEEDING DAY OUTLOOK: POSSIBLE FIX MISSION
      NEAR 24.5N 88.5W AT 05/1800Z.

NHC up to 30% now (6/3 8pm EDT), although it is probably just going to be a rain maker. It's still very messy, typical for this time of year.

By the way, NASA imagery is back on this site:
http://wwwghcc.msfc.nasa.gov/GOES/

The imagery at NOAA is still blurry around Africa so they are still using GOES 14. I assume then that NASA just configured their site for GOES 14 rather than GOES 13 being available again as I have not seen anything about GOES 13 being fixed.

A little hurricane hunter update regarding NOAA since I happened to hear from one of their hurricane hunters today. N42RF (Kermit) is operating out of Smyrna, Tennessee for around six weeks for an air quality study. They just arrived this afternoon. Then it comes back to Tampa no later than mid July and it will then be prepared for hurricane missions. Meanwhile the other P-3, N43RF (Miss Piggy), has an instrumentation check flight tonight, so it should be ready for storms if that goes well.
