| I've been thinking the same thing. The ridge currently over the western Atlantic looks mightily powerful and well-entrenched, causing that cold front to retrograde across the gulf and the eastern third of the U.S. and dump an unbelievable amount of rain down here in FL. It definitely resembles the kind of set up I would expect to send storms into Central America and Mexico, the kind of scenario we saw in the days of Dean and Felix. |
