Dorian/Strong Disturbance Analysis

The sat presentation of the strong disturbance/mid level low has been gradually improving throughout the morning. Strong convection continues just east of the LLC with periphery banding mostly in the northern and eastern quad. Low level inflow is decent on the southern quad and moderate across the northern and eastern. The upper level outflow is good over the northern and eastern quad, but restricted across the west and southern.

Some westward expansion of the outflow is occurring as cirrus is pushing west. These are signs of upper ridging and restriction of SW shear from the large ULL across the Bahamas.

Dorian's remains appear to be making a comeback and likely recon will be needed. However, the strong mid-level circulation is not stacked, but this will soon reach the surface later today or later on tonight.
