Unfortunately they didn't even have their highest alert out in the Philippines for this storm. Their agency seemed more behind than most others. (Although, no one forecast it to strengthen like that.) It makes me appreciate the technology we have. I can't imagine living somewhere that didn't have the ability for me to go online and pull up the radar, especially in a place that gets so hit so often, and so hard, by tropical cyclones. (The radar closest to where the storm was did not appear online in real time that I saw.)
