The ASCAT (METOP-B) pass from several hours ago may of kind of missed the center, or not, but it was close enough I think to say that it is not there yet at the surface in addition to the loss of convection.

Latest pass at the moment:

(though eventually the latest pass could be on one of four images below for that spot, from either METOP-A or METOP-B's ascending or descending pass)

That pass was from 10:47pm EDT. At 8pm EDT the center was estimated in the NHC's ATCF system to be at 17.8N 85W.
