Thinking on the Cape Verde season usually cut off by Sept 15th ish meaning it's very hard to  make it across to the states that late. We know the dry air is in place so assuming the next wave comes off in a few days & does not develop then we are crunching this down to a three week period for potential cape verde development.  The average week see's about 2 waves emerge off the coast of Africa so this gives us 6 chances before it's basically shut off. The wave behind that wave is the only other player with no real circulations in east Africa at this time. So i'm thinking we may have to wait for some close in development in the western basin maybe one of these waves regenerates. It may be just a tad too early to tell but I don't see an onslaught of Cape Verde systems marching across.
