The only thing missing this year is the tropical cyclones. Otherwise, it seems very much like 2004 around here. 2011 had some similar rain, but it was warmer.
Some areas are getting massive amount of rain around here. You are probably getting more. I don't always participate being very close to the bay. I have quite a bit this year with the rain so definitely no complaints, but I still see other areas that seem to get a lot more.
Some areas are drying out a little bit, like me lately, although a lot of the area is still getting very wet. At least the dragonflies have made more of an appearance to start eating the mosquitoes.
I just want some cool weather though. Close to Halloween is too long, although I see the stores already selling decorations, so it is almost like it feels like it is getting closer. |
