Great point LawKat. This is one of those seasons that lulls us into complacency.  Especially with all the "active season" forecasts. Us tropic watchers know we are only halfway no matter that temps in the NE have been downright crisp.    

Looks at distribution alone it appears the bulk of systems is still ahead of us. There is a late shift in climatology that we are creeping towards
