I'm hoping for the record too. We're so close!

It's looking rather good right now. If this were any other year, I would say it would absolutely become a hurricane. I remain undecided for now.

Click "L" on the map and then select something for satellite imagery at the top and in left column "Image Resolution" of "2km", for the closest up, if you want that, and then after that also in the left column under "Image Animation" click "AniGIF" for animation.

You can add tons of things in that display, like shear, dry air and upper level winds for example.
