Well, I've pretty much decided until the NHC revises the 2am EDT best track data, if they do, that the record was at least tied. And... I can even make an argument, that can't be proven, that Humberto might actually hold the record outright, by a little bit, maybe. But that could go the other way too. It just appears that Gustav may have got to 75mph a little sooner in between updates, assuming Humberto was 70mph at 2am EDT. But that could never be proven, it's just a possibility that can't be disproved, assuming Humberto stays a tropical storm for the 2am EDT best track position.

I guess it is the Atlantic's turn right now. The East Pacific, and even the Central Pacific, have had quite a bit of activity this year.
