I believe everyone will be prepared. Essential sites do seem operational and the things that need to be open seem like they are/will be. Things that are less essential may not update or be available on some sites. Social media may not be updated as frequently, but then again it was not the first source for information anyway as it was delayed before too. Local EOCs should be able to continue to get in touch with who they need to at the federal level and also a lot of things would be local anyway. Aside from a few notices here and there, I doubt most people would notice any difference in the weather coverage at any level as a result of the shutdown.
