The weird movement was going from the western tip of Cuba, to west of Key West, to stay west of Tampa, to stop south of Pensacola, make a left turn and stop staying south of New Orleans where it starts heading south further to the central Gulf and then finally heading northwest into Houston.
The GFS still has something a bit similar, though less crazy movement, in the 12Z run today, going into south Texas eventually.
The GFS has been very wrong on developing something for weeks, so it remains rather meaningless for now. (Long term is often out there, but lately its been out to lunch.) |
