A lot going on with this small system.
Small systems are hard to predict and often overlooked by models until they pop up fast as this one did earlier today.
It's been riding with dust for a ways now. A small tight system can handle dust better than a large lumbering one. Still it's a monkey on it's back for now and later there is shear to deal with..
For now models aim it at the Antilles and then towards the SE coast (that's really long range) and yet others say lower level winds would keep it more west.
Keep watching. NHC seems to be paying attention to SHIPS model that does take it to TS status.
