| It's nice to have the latest development as the title so people know what the status is. If it gets buried in another post when it was a lesser status it makes it less easy for people to see the current status as replies are hidden until you actually click to view the replies. This way as soon as you load the page you know it is now a depression. If it were to become a tropical storm, it would be best to post another thread since you would not know that if you were to post a reply to this one until you clicked to view the replies. I try to remember to create a new post each time for that reason. (And then reply to newer posts for the storm so older versions with the former status are not bumped up.) |
