Hanna thanks very much for your efforts.   I have never had much luck phoning the PNJ so will just go after his email address or maybe send to another contact I have on the editorial board and ask him to forward.  I should've done this earlier but have  been tied up all day.  Will let y'all know what kind of response I elicit, if any.  

Where the 70% chance came from was when there was nothing but a red "X" on the Tropical Weather Outlook, before the disturbance was officially a tropical depression.  In fact that's about the only factual information in the article, but it was already way out of date before the edition was published.
