Tropical Wave just North of Puerto Rico

Tropical wave is interacting with an upper low over the Bahamas, this has increased convection as usual on the eastern side of the ULL. Although development is unlikely at the moment, some of the models bring a tropical low across the Bahamas with some increase as the ULL weakens in a few days.
Thought it should be mentioned, since it's September and closer to home than anything in the basin. In addition, development this year have all been close to the US... |
