Highest wind from a significant level of a dropsonde in NE eyewall

The sonde released into the NE eyewall probably got thrown back into the eye. (pretty much most definitely)

Surface which was 953mb had wind 89 knots (102 mph)

Highest wind level was 927mb with 156 knots (180 mph).

925mb level was at 258m (846 ft) where wind was 155 knots (178 mph) .

The splash location of that sonde was NNW of the 941mb vortex icon in this image:



The 941mb vortex had 14 knots of wind, so it was more like 940mb pressure.
