Verizon FIOS drops The Weather Channel permanently

I've been critical of TWC a lot, for not enough live weather and winter storm naming, but it was nice to have it during big storms. In its place is AccuWeather on my TV now, which is basically nothing. I guess I would have to switch to another service if I want it back, although I'm sure I'll find it streamed online somewhere. Jim and Bill show it a lot too for storms.

Verizon is likely selling its cable, Internet and home phone assets in my metropolitan area to another company, Frontier Communications, in about a year, so maybe then it will return.
