There seems to be a very extreme difference in construction there. I had seen some commercial buildings that looked relatively intact in Port Villa, but some residential areas were hit extremely hard because the construction materials were very poor. Even if there were just tropical storm conditions there it could have been very devastating to those residential locations. I didn't realize how big the difference was in construction.
