Yeah, that MIMIC loop shows that the spin in the NE GoM seems to be moving back over Florida. I think that is what the Euro had picked up on Friday when it developed a strong cyclone.
Most of the global models, including the Euro, are now showing weak Low pressure anywhere from the NE GoM to the NC coast or inland over the SE US over the next several days but never develop it into anything more than what looks like a TD of about 1007 mb.
