That and then throw in the size. They can strengthen or weaken quickly. We saw one of those today for sure. As for weakening, I will hesitate on that still. The satellite presentation is starting to look a little better again after the eye disappeared. It did weaken some today obviously after it became a major  hurricane. When they called it, it was already starting to weaken at that point. But, I don't know where it goes from here, path or intensity. These small systems are not seen often enough.

But there is some good news probably. The G-IV did a research mission, but they did sample around some. That high altitude data might help the models some.
