Well I just looked over Shear conditions and it looks as if conditions are becoming favorable again for Danny...the shear is decreasing where Danny is currently at and there is now an open window of opportunity to strengthen, which makes me wonder if the track will shift.

Steering winds of 500-850 hpa

400-850 hpa

I myself am baffled how these systems can even survive in these types of conditions.
